Don’t Let Security Ruin the Vibe: How Any-sized Business Can Protect the Momentum Behind a New Produ

Vibe coding is brilliant right up until the point where the prototype becomes the product and someone quietly realises nobody bothered to ask the security questions. 😬
I wrote about this topic for Unite.AI because I think the conversation around AI-assisted development is still a bit too binary.
Move fast and accept the risk, or bring security in and grind everything to a halt.
Except that really shouldn’t be the choice in hand.
For those of us in cybersecurity, the important part is figuring out how we help people keep the speed and experimentation that makes this stuff exciting, while spotting the point where “it works!” needs to then become “it’s now safe enough to put in front of actual humans.”
That doesn’t always need a huge security programme. It does need the right questions, at the right time, and people who understand the risks in the right way.
Security shouldn’t ruin the vibe, but it should ensure the vibe doesn't ruin it for everyone else.
